Star Wars Rebellion Manual
Easy Fighter Killing
Jump into the enemy system and unpause. When the enemy fighters start moving, pause and jump into hyperspace. The fighters will have reached you and exchanged shots. If you were quick enough they won't damage you but their squad size will be reduced. Repeat as needed.

If you need fleets, but your systems are low or out of available energy slots, change the the destination of the construction to a neutral system (it can be habited or inhabited). The ship will still have a cost in maintenaince and refined points, but it will save energy.
Power-up Luke
Later in the game, once you've blockaded Coruscant, put Luke on the blockading fleet. SAVE THE GAME! 99% of the time, the Emperor or Darth Vader (or both)will be on the planet. Send Luke on a sabotage mission or capture mission (but make sure not to target the Emperor!) Since the Vader and/or Emperor are both force users, they'll detect Luke. His mission will be foiled and he will gain two force bonuses: One for encountering Vader/Emperor and another for evading escape. If Luke gets captured, reload the game and send a few infiltrators in with him. Even if he fails then, keep on trying and repeat the process. Before you know it, he'll become super strong and darn near invincible. I had him over 500 in combat and espionage and 350 in diplomacy!
Fast start for the rebels
The empire allways begins with a planet that supports the rebellion, but is subjugated by a big garrison of ground troops. If you gather a large fleet with several fighter squadrons and put a commander with high leadership and combat (Han Solo or Wedge Antilles) you can easily blockade the planet. Then promote the commander to admiral status. Then bombard the imperial miltary units. Once you have destroyed all imperial units the planet automatically joins the rebellion. Liberating the planet will cause the rebellions popularity to skyrocket often causing several neutral systems to join and imperial systems to uprise. Then you can liberate the imperial system which are pro rebels and soon you control the whole sector. I once conquered an entire sector (sluissi) by day 34 using 2 corvette多s, and a fleet carrier carrying 4 Y-wing多s & 2 X-wing多s, commanded by Han Solo. P.S. You can prepare for planetary shields by having a good spy, like Chewbacca tagging along.
Take a planet..the easy way
Chose a planet you wish to take over. Invade with a fleet large enough to hold the system. Once you have a blockade of the system bring a strong force character (jedi Luke or vader) onto one of the ships. Send them to take out whatever generals they have controlling ground forces. Once thats done you can send them to take out the shields and defenses as many times as necessary with very little risk to themselves. After defenses are down you can incite uprising until they turn to your side without losing any ground forces or wasting time with diplomacy.
Take a planet
First target an enemy system and bulid 8 either bulwark battlecruisers or 8 super star deystroyers and commence a planetary bombardment (which will deystroy all their defenses) then invade the system with 12 or more regiments (this should elimanate all chances of a uprising) then continue to run diplomacy missions until the planet is loyal to you.
Easy Fighter Killing
This is for places like Coruscant where there are a lot of fighters. Get a fleet really close to the enemy system. This fleet should have 2 Corellian Corvettes and 1 Escort Frigate (Nebulon B's if you have them) but NO FIGHTERS.
FAST Colonizing
As you know if you are a seasoned rebellion player, when you colonize a planet on the outer ring you must wait for a facility to be deployed there before you officially own the planet. Now the other day I was playing and I realized that the rebel base takes up a slot on the facility meter. If you want to colonize the planets fast all you have to do is move your base to the planet!!!. It is great for stocking up large amounts of maintinence. Of course this only works with the rebels. Hope this will help you all out!
Research Hint
To speed up research and get the most facilities/units/ships as fast as possible you should assing all of your character (even those with good other skills) that van to research their respective tech. For ones that can research more than one thing I usually go with ship research as a priority.
Sweeper Diplomacy
Take at least 3 to 4 diplomats and send them to 3 to 4 different planets in one sector. Have them run diplomacy missions. Keep sending your diplomats to every single planet in the sector and then do the same for all of the sectors. Do this quickly, because the other side may want those same planets. Try starting this diplomacy campaign around day 25 or 30.

Star Wars Rebellion Tips Hints
- PC | Submitted by GamesRadar1. Always Keep at least fifty fighter squadrons at Coruscant or Alliance Headquarters. This is an easy defense from invading fleets. The sheer number of fighters is usually more than whats in a fleet and can hold off any main attack and can easily scare off the opposite side if they dont have more fighters.
2. Let the enemy fleet come to you.In tactical mode. Wait for the enemy fleet to come to you. This forces him to move back across the battlespace to his side before jumping to hyperspace. This allows you to chase him down with your fighters and capital ships.
3.When engaging in Commando type missions, use two or three other agents as decoys. This can often result in more successful missions.
Starting Strategies
Well It seems you've come to the right place to find hints to help your game. A s you can see I've already compiled a bunch of tips for you above. I shall continue to provide my vast expertise to help you. Just dont use it against me.
1.Use initial fleets to blockade opposing sides ship yards.Any factory complex won't build while under blockcade. This will allow you to get a head start on the other side.
2.Find any starting construction yards and have them build more yards on the same world. Rather than builing yards on other worlds which will take 40 or more turns, Each additional yard will build faster. then once the world is full of yards then build on other planets far faster than otherwise.
3.Use your initial transports and troops to explore and control rim sectors. Remember, Any world you dont control, The enemy can. Besides with mines and refineries on those rim worlds, you can afford larger fleets.
4.Find your diplomats and deploy them to other core systems.Any character with a diplomacy skill of at least 80 is good. The lower skilled diplomats will improve with use.
5.Use the Emperor or Mon Mothma for recruiting.Keep sending them on recruitment missions on their starting systems. This will build up a pool of free agents. Once recruitment is finished, bring Luke or Vader back. They will then find any trainees in the pool.
6.Once trainees are found dedicate Vader or Luke to Jedi training. There's nothing like a Jedi diplomat to sway the allegiance of any world.
